Welcome to Greenwood-Coxwell

Greenwood-Coxwell is a neighbourhood that is often referred to as “up-and-coming,” but in reality, it’s already arrived. The area is popular with young families and those seeking single family homes or low rise condos. Near Leslieville and the Upper Beaches, Greenwood-Coxwell is a pleasant place to live at a still more affordable price than some other east-end neighbourhoods. Gerrard Street East runs through the south end of the area, where the personality of Little India awaits. For a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants, Danforth Avenue is a short walk away. There are large parks with great recreation amenities, as well as libraries and schools. What NOT to Expect: The area is residential and family-friendly, so if you're looking for an active night-life scene you might prefer downtown. However, bars are walkable along The Danforth for a fun night out.
