Welcome to Fort York

Fort York is a neighbourhood built in Toronto’s most historic location. The area’s condo development is new to the city, but the site of the original Fort has been here since 1793. The buildings were rebuilt after the War of 1812, and have been standing ever since. In recent years, surrounding streets have modernized around the Fort, with many condominiums constructed.

Fort York offers residents beautiful park lands and bike trails. It is also near the Waterfront for walking, island access, and lake views. Fort York includes Exhibition Place and Ontario Place. Historic landmarks, modern living options, and recreation are why Fort York continues to make history.

Walking and biking. Fort York has great walking trails and bike paths. Ride to the National Yacht Club to check out the boats bobbing in the water, or ride along Queens Quay for some scenic routes. Bandshell Park music and the Rose Garden fountain are next to Exhibition Place. There’s an off leash dog area in Coronation Park and residents of all ages will enjoy the scenery at Inukshuk Park.

What NOT to Expect: Fort York doesn’t offer single family homes. Also, some amenities are lacking, but Liberty Village is walking distance for night life, and there are more grocery stores and dining options being added.

A Day in the Life: See the sun rise over the water from your Fort York condo. After breakfast at the cafe, ride your bike along Martin Goodman Trail where a baseball game has started up in the park. Have a slice with a friend at the pizzeria, then head to the One of a Kind Show for the afternoon and pick up a purse made from a vinyl record.
