East Danforth neighbourhood is also referred to as Danforth Village, and is located just north of the Upper Beaches. It is a community that is built right along Danforth Avenue, roughly from Greenwood Avenue to Victoria Park Avenue. The area has endless shopping and dining options that are walkable from anywhere in the area. There are a range of businesses nearby, from affordable stores to boutique shops. Main station is a commuter hub, where buses and streetcars link up and GO Transit passengers can walk to and from the Danforth GO Train station. The nearest highway is Lakeshore Boulevard, which is about a fifteen minute drive away. In terms of residential housing, East Danforth is a mixture of single family homes, apartments, and condominiums. 

What NOT to Expect: If you want quieter streets, you'll want to seek a home for sale a further off the Danforth. However, the close proximity of Danforth Avenue also means convenience and accessible transit.
