What to Expect: Rosedale subway station is walking distance. Buses run on many streets in the neighbourhood and connect to both Rosedale and Sherbourne subway stations. The Don Valley Parkway is also nearby for drivers. There are schools in the area, including Gradale Academy, Rosedale Jr. Public School, and Whitney Jr. Public School. The Summerhill Market is walkable, and it’s a foodies dream with delicious organic and specialty groceries. 

What NOT to Expect: Budget friendly options. Rosedale-Moore Park is one of Toronto’s more expensive areas for real estate. Also, since it is a residential area there isn't a busy nightlife scene. 

A Day in the Life: Enjoy the morning on your terrace, overlooking the heritage church down the street. Walk over to Summerhill Market for an organic muffin platter. Take the treats to Chorley Park and meet your friends for a stroll under the trees. Go shoe shopping in nearby Yorkville before getting an elegant lunch at El Tenedor Wine Bar. Then spend the evening at the Brickworks, where a film is screening. Get dinner at Cafe Belong, located within the Brickworks grounds. Walk home through the park, and have a night cap on your condo terrace where the day began.
