Mount Pleasant West is a midtown Toronto neighbourhood that lives up to its name. Also referred to as Davisville Village, this area is more relaxed than downtown, but still extremely walkable to transit, stores, and restaurants. It was named after Toronto’s famous Mount Pleasant Cemetery, where locals and visitors come to explore the quiet beauty of the grounds. Other parks in the area offer residents outdoor space for taking a walk or riding a bike. Families with children are drawn to the parks, but also to the many schools in the district.
