Flemingdon Park is a popular condo neighbourhood in Toronto’s North York region. It is bordered by Eglinton Avenue East to the north and the Don River on all other sides. Located just south of Don Mills, it was originally extensive farmland owned by the Fleming family. There is still plenty of green space here and the Don River adds natural beauty to the area. Residents of Flemingdon Park live primarily in tall apartment buildings and condos, many with great views of parkland. The most famous building in Flemingdon Park is the Ontario Science Centre, which delights people from across the country. There are many children living in the area who can attend local schools, visit the library, or play in the parks. The Don Valley Parkway is within the neighbourhood, so commuting is easy from Flemingdon Park. The Crosstown LRT line is coming soon to Eglinton Avenue, so commuting in Flemingdon Park will be even easier in years to come.

Angela James Arena is a great venue with a skating rink for future hockey stars. For people who commute by car, Flemingdon Park is in a great location. The Don Valley Parkway runs right through the neighbourhood, so you're always a quick drive to this major route. The Crosstown LRT planned for Eglinton will add even more options for commuting. If you're taking the TTC, bus routes on Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue East will connect you to the subway.
What NOT to Expect: There aren't a lot of local shops in walking distance. For more shopping options, you can easily head north to the Shops at Don Mills.
A Day in the Life: The views of green space from your Flemingdon Park condo are incredible. Relax on the balcony before going out for a bite at a local restaurant. Then, head over to Linkwood Lane Park and play frisbee with your neighbours before joining them for lunch at your favourite Indian restaurant. Now it's time to visit the Science Centre to explore the exhibits with your kids and watch an amazing documentary. Head home for drinks at your condo, and plan to visit the arena tomorrow for your son's hockey game.
