Newtonbrook West is a peaceful neighbourhood in North York, Toronto. The area has stunning parkland, including G Ross Lord Park to the west. G Ross Lord Park has some of the most beautiful scenery in North York, with a large pond, soccer fields, and winding trials perfect for jogging and walking dogs. For commuting to and from the neighbourhood, the TTC is accessible with Finch subway station and bus terminal in walking distance. Streetcars and buses run through Newtonbrook as well, including along Bathurst, Yonge, Drewry, Bayview and Willowdale. For drivers, Highway 401 is less than fifteen minutes away.
What NOT to Expect: The area is largely residential and parkland. If you want to live in a fast-paced Toronto core, Newtonbrook might not be your top choice.
