Newtonbrook West is a peaceful neighbourhood in North York, Toronto. The area has stunning parkland, including G Ross Lord Park to the west. G Ross Lord Park has some of the most beautiful scenery in North York, with a large pond, soccer fields, and winding trials perfect for jogging and walking dogs. There are many more recreation opportunities throughout the neighbourhood, including lots of gorgeous parks, two community centres, and many fantastic schools.


Newtonbrook West is also home to Centerpoint Mall, and even more shopping along Yonge Street and Steeles Ave West. The residential streets in Newtonbrook include quaint single family homes, luxury townhomes, and modern condos for sale. What to Expect: Convenient location to outdoor space and transit. There are dozens of parks, including interconnected parks along the Don River. Hiking along the trails in Newtonbrook is truly a delight for residents and visitors. For commuting to and from the neighbourhood, the TTC is accessible with Finch subway station and bus terminal in walking distance. Streetcars and buses run through Newtonbrook as well, including along Bathurst, Yonge, Drewry, Bayview and Willowdale. For drivers, Highway 401 is less than fifteen minutes away. 


What NOT to Expect: The area is largely residential and parkland. If you want to live in a fast-paced Toronto core, Newtonbrook might not be your top choice.


A Day in the Life: Wake up to panoramic views of the neighbourhood from your Newtonbrook condo. Walk next door with to get an iced tea and a scone for breakfast. Then, head to your Saturday Taekwondo family class with the kids. After sparring, have a bite to eat at a relaxed family restaurant. Then walk through the park and take some group pictures along the river. Let the kids play on the playground while you relax with a cool drink. As the evening rolls around its time for dinner down the street. Meet up with your friends at their place for a movie night, then walk home to your condo.
