What to Expect: Community, and convenience. One of the best things about Bathurst Manor is the amount of great community spaces for neighbours to get to know each other. Everything you need is in the area, whether you want to shop, dine, learn, or socialize. On days when you feel like enjoying the outdoors, walk along the water in the nearby greenbelts. For those who work elsewhere in Toronto, commuting downtown by TTC or car is easy. Bus routes run along Sheppard and Bathurst, and Downsview subway station is located in the south end of the neighbourhood. Highway 401 and Allen Road are both under ten minutes away by car.
What NOT to Expect: Since the area is popular with families, it isn't the same as neighbourhoods in the core of the city. If you want non-stop action, consider condos downtown.
A Day in the Life: Your condo in Bathurst Manor is located on Sheppard Avenue, which means you're steps away from the cafe. Take an herbal tea to go, and meet up with your friend at the park for a relaxing dip in the pool. Then, get lunch at your favourite bagel place before picking your daughter up from school. Take her for a bike ride along the river, followed by a refreshing ice cream cone. Meet a group of friends for dinner at a local family-friendly restaurant. Invite everyone back to your place for drinks, and plan another fun day at the community centre tomorrow.
In Summary: Bathurst Manor is a North York neighbourhood where community connection meets beautiful parkland.
